HanzaLEDs is a brand of Toricon Co., Ltd.
HanzaLEDs is LED brand of Toricon. All products we offer outside of Japan such as Visible, Low-Beam, Infrared are under this brand. HanzaLEDs has a specific naming convention to indicate what kind of product it is.
Rules of HanzaLEDs model name
HanzaLEDs brand model names follow the rules shown in the example below.
*Infrared products are based on slightly different rules.
The wavelength listed and the wavelength of the product are slightly different.
Be sure to check the wavelength on the spec sheet.
e.g. IR809IA-3A02-B7 (λp = 800nm)
The brand name is divided into three blocks.
First block: describes the onboard LED chip, showing the brightness, emitted color, and chip code.
Second block: describes the resin lens, showing lens diameter, resin color and lens mold code.
Third block: describes the lead frame, showing solder dipping, stopper and lead frame code.
Almost all symbols in our website is explained in this figure, but we are able to provide a very wide variation of products as well as those represented by these symbols. For instance, we listted only “GR” as green in products page, but we have also produced “GY” (Yellow Green or Light Green, 570nm) products.
Additionally, this basic naming convention may be supplemented with additional internal rules. For example, if NRH1D-5AJ6-F3 is radial taped, it will be NRH1D-5AJ6-F3-T, and if it is VF sorted, it will be NRH1D-5AJ6-F3-VF.
In this way, we achieve fast and accurate product management.
Our alternative brand in Japan
In Japan, we operate the “TmS” brand, which has a different naming convention. If there is an LED with a naming convention similar to HanzaLEDs, starting with T, it might be our product.
