The accuracy of the production equipment is adjusted based on the results of checking the workmanship of each output unit (800 pieces), thus achieving a high level of workmanship with no variation in quality.
Small lot production & high traceability minimize the scope of damage in the event of a market claim.
As a result of the above, the scope of damage in the event of a market claim can be classified into units of 9600 pieces.

In wire bonding to the 2nd side (the side without the chip on it), the standard BBOS (Bonding Ball On Stich) is performed.
Furthermore, if the BBOS section is covered with a silver die bond adhesive (silver reinforcement), wire disconnection that occurs during reflow soldering or outdoor use under the hot sun can be prevented. (Optional)

Resin lens molding by reaction heat suppression curing greatly increases service life.
The lens portion of an LED lamp is formed by pouring a mixture of epoxy resin and hardener into a lens mold and heating it. If the heating rate is too fast, the reaction heat during curing causes curing strain inside the resin, which in severe cases can cause the resin to peel or crack. Even if there are no defects in appearance, the curing strain will shorten the life of the LED lamp. Therefore, epoxy resins should be heated so as not to generate excessive reaction heat.
Solder dip in lead section greatly improves reliability of solder connection.
Since the lead wires of LED lamps are silver plated on the surface, the surface turns black when left in the air for a long time, causing problems such as poor solder connection and high electrical resistance. However, Toricon applies solder dip to the lead wires in most of its products.
Therefore, the lead surfaces do not discolor even if left in the atmosphere for a long period of time. This facilitates solder connections to boards and other devices and improves reliability.
Because solder dip is performed after cutting the tie bar of the lead frame, corrosion from the tie bar cutting area is prevented.



Significant reduction in market defects due to thermal cycling by conducting heat resistance testing on all lots.
The following tests shall be performed on all lots to determine pass/fail.
1. Remove any 5 pieces from each lot.
2. Apply a thermal shock (300°C for 10 seconds) to the base of the lead.
3. Confirm that the leads light up immediately after the shock and fail the test if even one lead does not light up.
4. Repeat the above steps three times.
This inspection prevents defective products from being released into the market.
Significantly reduced occurrence of market defects due to poor electrical connections with products inspections in hot lighting
The following inspections shall be performed on all lots to determine pass/fail.
1. All products shall be inspected for lighting at room temperature.
2. All products are placed in a high-temperature furnace and kept heated (at least 30 minutes at 100°C).
3. Inspect all products for lighting under high-temperature conditions. If even one product is not lit, it is rejected.
This inspection prevents defective products from leaking into the market.

Why we can take any order, no matter how small?
Unit configurations of 200 pieces allow for small lot orders with no difficulty.
Since each mold carrier produces 200 pieces, lots can be configured with any quantity from a minimum of 200 pieces to a maximum of 9600 pieces by configuring lots by the number of mold carriers.


Independent production lines for each process allow flexible production according to customer requirements.
Since production is based on independent production plans for each work process, small-lot products are not put on the back burner and the company can flexibly respond to customer requests for delivery date changes.

Since we have a standard product lineup and also, we offer proposals from specification determination to prototype development and mass production based on customer requests. We can also replace products that have been discontinued by other companies. We can replace TO-18 metal stem as well as vertical casting type.


Emission type: Compatible with wavelengths from 365 nm to 1500 nm, including near-ultraviolet, visible light and near-infrared.
Our standard lineup includes visible light and short-wavelength near-infrared (wavelengths from 700 nm to 1000 nm). For products not included in our lineup, we offer solutions from specification determination to prototype development and mass production according to customer needs.
A wide variety of resin lens shapes enables realization of light-receiving and light-emitting characteristics as requested.
The resin part can be round, square, or cylindrical in size from φ3mm, φ5mm & φ10mm in circumference as standard. Even if a customer’s request is not included in the standard lineup, any shape can be accommodated by creating a new resin mold.
Resin is usually colorless and transparent but can be colored to prevent misuse and identification.
Visible light-cut resin may be used for infrared light-receiving products.
Light distribution characteristics in light receiving and emitting can be adjusted by mixing any amount of diffusion material with the resin.


Width of tie-bar cut: 0.6mm or 1.2mm
Normally, the tie bar cut width is 0.6mm. The cut width can be set to 1.2 mm at the customer’s option to reduce soldering defects when directly attached to the board.
Radial taping for board-mounting machines is also available.
Through-hole LEDs are normally shipped in antistatic bags of 500 units each. However, when using a board-mounting machine, radial taping can be applied at the customer’s request.
